Abstract

The contribution, through the examination of legislative production, highlights the full recognition of the landscape as a cultural asset to be enhanced and protected. It defines the term landscape, in relation to that of territory. It proposes the history of the landscape as a key to understanding today to relate to environmental problems, identifying mutual influences between nature and anthropic action.
