Abstract

Historical reenactment is a very important and didactic tool. In Aragon, one of the historical regions of Spain, in 2018 were celebrated 57 historical commemoration activities, although many of them are not true reenactments or good living history acts. To highlight the current situation, it should be noted that in several Aragonese locations were organized international congress on this subject, such in Caspe or Peracense, about reenactment from an academic and informative prism. There are also a spin-off at the University of Zaragoza called HPLab that for years encourages this type of activity. Since recent years, it is intended to unseat projects based on the historic festival or the historicist market, for proposals related to museums, heritage and history teaching from a perspective of seriousness and collegial management. As didactic possibilities should be noted the existence of settings, workshops, theatrical performances, conferences, courses, videos, etc.
