The Bergamo Institute for the History of the Resistance and the Contemporary Age (Isrec) has been committed since 2013 to making Charlotte Delbo known in Italy: daughter of Italian immigrants, resistant and deported to Auschwitz, survivor and writer, she was a reading tip by Primo Levi that Italy has never grasped and that we instead consider rich in ideas for building a dialogue on the history of the twentieth century with the new generations. In this article, after a brief introduction to Charlotte Delbo, we will explain how the didactic experience was born and how it was realized, thanks to the synergy between the Laura Bassi High School in Bologna, Isrec, Les Amis de Charlotte Delbo and the “Memoria della Deportazione” Foundation , brought between 15 and 19 May 2018 a group of Bolognese students to participate as speakers at the Journées Charlotte Delbo in Vigneux-sur-Seine and a study day specifically dedicated to them at the French national library in Paris.Downloads
