Abstract

The Manifesto of Didactis of History promoted by the "International Center of History and Heritage Education", regarding the concept of geo-history, says that «The natural intertwining of history and geography considers spatial and temporal data inseparable from each other and which attributes to local history a fundamental function for growing a composite identity consciousness in which ties are reconciled with one's roots and community with the whole community Human». The article proposes a vertical curriculum of History and Geography, effectively implemented in the school contexts of the Emilia-Romagna Region and Republic of San Marino, distinguished by well-founded core, goals for the development of skills and repertoire of learning objectives, considering the discipline made of results and contacts and recognizing that the reality in which we live is only one of the possible worlds, both with respect to past, both compared to other contemporary and future societies.
