Abstract

The research of traces of history in the area allows children to be protagonists of their own learning process allowing also to be able to acquire the awareness of being guardians of the historical, artistic and naturalistic heritage. The field trips in the historic quarter and in the surrounding area offer the opportunity to be able to retrace the history of the city in its most significant moments and to be able to seize the characteristics of the natural environment. Class reworking of what has been observed through the production of texts joins the use of iconographic sources and the realization of drawings. The path "Happy stories of the Bentivoglio family among palaces, orchards and gardens" of which we report a detailed description can be an example of history and inclusive teaching.
