Abstract

The didactics of history has had in recent decades a great expansion and development in Spain. Two different lines of action have been created: one focused on school institutions, in which proposals for innovation and incorporation of technologies are beginning to bear fruit. And a different line is being developed at the University where a recognized and coherent scientific community has been created. This has meant a great production of doctoral theses, articles and scientific monographs. A serious problem is that both groups live far from each other and do not take advantage of the inertias that are desirable for optimal growth in the didactics of history.
